  • The website is built as a landing page based on the outstanding infinite scroll effect. With this solution, content is loaded on a single page as you scroll down, keeping the user on the page longer and reducing the number of clicks.
  • Photos and videos are inherently added to the story – optimising them was a priority for us
  • A website design reflects the individual parts of the exhibition in the offline version: including the colors of the interior – we used the same styles, shades and shapes on the website.
  • The number of clicks on the page has been limited to a minimum: the user is guided down along with the presented story, and while scrolling, individual content is launched automatically.
  • 7

independent time periods of presented story

  • +10

video materials on the page + video as the background of the page

  • 6

    additional sections with contextual elements

The Client about the project

We sources a number of offers, and the one send by the Brave New was the best, both in terms of the quality of the previous work, as well as the solutions proposed. And also, financially the offer was comparable with the other we received.

There was a Project Manager assigned to the project who was responsible for the contact. We received regular updates related to the pace of work. Our comments and corrections submitted to the project were implemented very quickly, which allowed for shortening the project implementation time. We received tips and information on website management, as well as video training.

Their responsiveness to our needs was excellent, as well as flexibility, and professionalism

Interactive exhibit Sweet Home Sweet

Facing the task of creating an online version of the exhibition, we started our work with a visit to the Museum and got acquainted with the presented history. The exhibition consists of many elements: photos, documents and videos. For this reason, we put a lot of emphasis on the design and layout of each section. Our goal was to create a clear and interesting project that engages the user.

Videos were the most important part of the project. Not only were they of a great value in terms of content when telling the story, but also diversified the prepared composition. A big role at this stage was played by the museum team, who supported us with its knowledge and was supportive when creating the website in terms of UX.

What was most important to us?

  • Offline website

In addition to the online website, we needed a solution to display an offline version of the exhibition at the museum’s display tour around the world. For this purpose, we used HTML, CSS, JS, GSAP libraries for animation. The exhibition is available on both desktop and mobile devices. In order to present it in an offline version, the website's responsiveness has also been adapted to larger screens, such as TV sets or projectors.
  • Optimisation

A large number of photos and videos were also used as page backgrounds. We focused on their high optimisation so that the user, scrolling the page, could immediately see the content of subsequent sections without having to wait long for the page to load.
  • Infinite scroll effect

The website was based on the infinite scroll effect. In order to diversify the presented content, it appeared in the top-down and right-left orientation, mainly for photo galleries or more video materials.
  • Autoplay videos

In accordance with the client's expectations, when creating the website, we tried to limit the number of clicks on the website. For this purpose, video materials are automatically turned on and off after scrolling through a specific section. The user can turn off the sound from anywhere on the site.
