Health Begins with Trust - Website for the Biaron Dietary Supplements Brand

Biaron is a dietary supplement brand supporting the healthy development of children. Although the previous website was visually consistent with the brand’s identity, it required a refresh – it had been designed in 2021 and no longer fully reflected the brand’s current needs.

PhytoPharm approached us with a request to design and implement a completely new version of the website.

A dietary supplements website - what should you focus on?

When designing the new website, we focused on elements that are crucial from the user’s perspective. Customers want to thoroughly understand the product — and in the case of dietary supplements, this is especially important. Products in this category require clear and accessible presentation of key information such as dosage, ingredients, and warnings. The form and structure of product presentation therefore play a vital role on websites for brands operating in this sector.

What did we pay particular attention to?

  • List of available pharmacies. Customers want to know where they can buy a given product. For the Biaron brand, we developed a clearer and more user-friendly version of the “Where to buy” section, presenting a list of pharmacies where the supplements are available. This is not only practical information, but also an important element in building credibility and trust in the brand.
  • Appropriate selection of images and video materials. A key factor was aligning photos and videos with the target audience and the context in which they are used. Visual assets across all subpages support the communication of benefits and demonstrate how the products contribute to the healthy development of children.
  • Knowledge base. We created an extensive knowledge base that serves a dual purpose. On one hand, it supports SEO efforts; on the other, it provides parents with valuable, reliable information they are actively searching for.

What was key during the work?

  • Clear presentation of available products

The Biaron brand offers a wide range of products designed for children of different ages. It was crucial to design the presentation in a way that allows parents to quickly and confidently find the right product for their child. We implemented convenient filtering and a clear presentation of key product features using standardized icons.
  • Easy website management

Making changes to the previous website was difficult and, in some cases, impossible. By implementing WordPress with the Gutenberg block editor, we enabled fast and efficient updates without requiring programming knowledge.
  • Video elements and animations

To make the website attractive to visitors, we implemented video elements, often used as background content. We also added subtle animations — non-intrusive, yet adding lightness and dynamism to the overall experience.
  • Consistency with the products’ visual identity

Biaron products feature a distinctive and consistently developed visual identity. One of our key objectives was to clearly reflect this identity in the website’s visual design. We achieved this by applying a coherent color palette, characteristic typography, and a visual language based on illustrations and graphic elements familiar from the product packaging.
  • Accessibility for all users

The project was designed in accordance with WCAG guidelines, ensuring accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. The website offers, among others, a high-contrast mode, adjustable font sizes, full keyboard navigation, and properly defined alternative (alt) text for graphic content. In addition, its structure is optimized for assistive technologies such as screen readers used by blind and visually impaired users.

How did project process look?

Stage 1 – Wireframes (UX)

When designing the website for a dietary supplement brand, we placed particular emphasis on the wireframing stage. After gathering key insights during the workshops, we began working on the information architecture and content structure.

One of the main challenges was designing an intuitive way to present a broad product portfolio. We analyzed how parents search for supplements for their children, which criteria are most important to them (such as the child’s age, ingredients, and intended use), and at which stages they make purchasing decisions.

As a result, we developed a clear product structure based on an advanced mega menu and a filtering system that allows users to browse products by the child’s age and key ingredients.

Stage 2 – Design

Biaron products have a distinctive and recognizable visual identity. The graphic design of the website was created to serve as a natural extension of the brand’s story. Individual products also feature unique visual elements, which were reflected on dedicated product subpages.

A key element of the visual layer is a coherent icon system that communicates the product format (e.g. drops, spray, twist-off capsules) along with clear age labels indicating the intended age group for each supplement.

This allows users to quickly identify the right product already at the product listing level, without the need to explore the details of each individual page. The same visual elements are used consistently across dedicated product pages, reinforcing clarity and overall system coherence.

Stage 3 – Development

The website was built using WordPress CMS, our custom Berka starter, and a block-based page-building system. This approach makes website management and future expansion simple and convenient. Each subpage can be created by dragging and arranging individual blocks — without the need for developer involvement.

Stage 4 – Content implementation and launch

Once development was completed, the website was populated with full content. Each product was thoroughly described and presented using iconography, images, and high-quality, informative copy. As a result, users receive all the information they need in a form that is clear and easy to scan.

Stage 5 – Free technical support and training

After project completion, our clients receive three months of free technical support. This time allows them to become familiar with the website and its capabilities. We also conduct an online training session, after which clients can independently manage their website. We know how important full support is during the launch phase and the first months of use.
